About Carballido’s Work
Àlex Carballido, (born: April 1984 in Barcelona Spain). He is a self-taught painter, an amateur photographer, who began his career drawing on the tablecloths of the restaurants where he accompanied his parents when he was a child. His technique vehemently blends his passion for collage, oil painting and vibrant aerosol nuances. To create a Dadaist universe of his own vision, surreal spatial vision, of modern society from the perspective of their own experiences and dreams. Like a time, traveller, an old soul in the body of a grown child. A restless mind, with a tailor's line, lover of detail and chaos, a fine disordered order.
