My very personal motivation in art lies in the elementary joy, to realize the ideas of my mind into the stone. I work consciously figurative. The center of my work are women – mothers of earth – goddesses with all her voluptous curves. They are deeply focused on their inner being – one with the whole universe and absorbed in inner peace. The work with marble and sandstone allows me to enter a symbiotic connection – during my work a deep dialogue with me and the stone arise
and at the same time a deep inspiration come over me, my surrounding become absolutely still, all wordly limitations are vanishing – just the stone and me in a deep connection – and everything is fine.
