Margarete Adler
Art is a playground for silly ideas and profound intentions, risky experiments and beautiful titles, sculptural intensity and ephemeral highlights.
I would like to describe my sculpture work as a mixture between baroque and pop art. But my artistic background clearly relates to the classical tradition of 18th and 19th century portrait art being deeply immersed in the skills and a traditional knowledge about materials. At the same time include aspects that refer to the 21century - namely in the use of color, materials and objects.
